Oportunidade para jornalista na África

O VJ Movement está procurando jornalista com experiência em vídeo e TV, bem como em edição, para trabalhar na África coordenando jornalistas free lancers.

Our global network of video journalists produce original 3-7 minute stories about their local communities for an international audience. The videos blend news reporting and documentary storytelling. The ideal candidate should have a passion for world news, a commitment to journalistic ethics, and a desire to work closely with a international group of colleagues.

The Africa Editor will recruit new journalists, consult with journalists on their story ideas, edit scripts and review videos. The editor will also perform web maintenance, as necessary, including posting new content, and working with technical staff to help develop new processes and troubleshoot issues. Salary is negotiable and competitive. This position is located at VJ Movement headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands.

QUALIFICATIONS
The editor must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant journalism experience, particularly in writing and producing video feature stories. They must have a proven record of generating story ideas and developing top-notch writing and editing talent. The editor must be a native speaker of French and fluent in English. They must be an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong network, organizational and planning skills.
